Biblical Astronomy: Gospel in the Stars - Mazzaroth Watch App
Beta Release Launched May 2026
Introduction
Biblical Astronomy examines the cosmos through the lens of Scripture.
And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Revelation 12:1, ESV
And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems.
Revelation 12:3, ESV
Dear Subscribers and followers, I am very excited to launch a new interactive web application called Gospel in the Stars - Mazzaroth Watch.
The Mazzaroth is Hebrew for constellations and mentioned in the Book of Job, the oldest book of the Bible.
31 “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades
or loose the cords of Orion?
32 Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season,
or can you guide the Bear with its children?
33 Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?
Can you establish their rule on the earth?
Job 38:31–33, ESV1
Gospel in the Stars is the title of a book written by Joseph A. Seiss in 1882, which contributed to the research and study of the Mazzaroth.
The App
The idea for the app was inspired by my daughter, who believed an app would help more people explore the Signs in Heaven.
The application incorporates a database of celestial objects, signs, and references.
Loaded into the database is a list of signs for users to explore.
Each sign is viewable in Stellarium Web
Each sign is also displayed in a list and timeline with filters by constellation or type.
In the Timeline view, one can select the anchor sign to auto-calculate the prophetic years, months, and days between signs.
Use Case 1: Selecting and Displaying the Revelation 12 Sign
For example, you can select the “Revelation 12 Sign” from the left sidebar menu, and it automatically loads the longitude and latitude of the viewer, as well as the constellation, date, and time of the sign in Stellarium.
Once the Stellarium Web application relaunches on the right panel, you can acknowledge the cookies and hide the splash screen to view the sky as it looked on September 23rd, 2017. The time is sunset in Jerusalem as Virgo is clothed with the sun, the moon at her feet… and she is giving birth.
Click the bottom icons of the cloud and landscapes to fully view the alignment in the celestial signs. Click on the “star man” to see all constellations. One now sees the 12 stars above her head in the Lion of Judah.

More Signs
I’ve uploaded an initial set of signs, which can be explored within Stellarium and the timeline view. More signs will be loaded over time.
For example loaded on May 20th, 2026, the following alignment of Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars in Sagittarius (The First Horseman) and Scorpius (The Second Horseman), which occurred on January 28th, 2020. On this day a meeting occurred between the World Health Organization and the Chinese Communist Party in Wuhan, China which began a new type of biological and spiritual warfare on mankind that has never been experienced before.
Development and Maintenance
I am monitoring hosting costs which is elastic based upon utilization. I hope to continue to offer it as a free app and fund the app development, maintenance and hosting through book sales and Substack subscription/donations. I welcome your feedback and support.
Detailed Instructions are available in the app.
God Bless and Enjoy the Signs in Heaven.
